The Emmaus girls wrestling team beat East Stroudsburg South last week, 42-30. The Hornets racked up bonus points with five pins and two wins by forfeit while only giving up bonus points in three matches as the Cavaliers had three pins in the loss.

Lillian Erbrick (106), Haily Laible (142), Ariana Koberlein (148), Olivya Kroope (155) and Rayne Shaw (235) pinned their ESS opponents, while teammates Jocelyn Vargas (170) and Petra Perez (190) picked up wins by forfeit.

Emmaus improves to 9-1 this season with its only loss coming against Gettysburg in a dual meet tournament. The Hornets are 4-0 against District 11 and East Penn Conference teams. They competed in the Governor Mifflin Tournament Monday and Tuesday to finish out 2025 and will be at the Parkland Winter Duals on Sunday, Jan. 4.
