Burglary

A resident of Fretz Avenue reported a burglary at her home Dec. 9, according to Salisbury police.

Warrant arrests

A 50-year-old male, of Windgap, was taken into custody Dec. 11 on an arrest warrant from Carbon County after a traffic stop in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

A 23-year-old female, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody Dec. 12 on an arrest warrant for drug charges from Northampton County after she was found in Dodson Park at night, according to Salisbury police.

A 34-year-old female, with no known address, was taken into custody Dec. 16 on an arrest warrant for a burglary in September in Salisbury Township, according to Salisbury police. Quakertown police found the woman in Quakertown, according to authorities.

Simple possession

A 29-year-old male, of Fleetwood, was taken into custody Dec. 17 for allegedly being in possession of methamphetamine while at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Dec. 16, according to Salisbury police. He was taken into custody following his release from the hospital.

Scams

A resident of the 1500 block of Paxford Road received a phone call from two males identifying themselves as from the sheriff’s office Dec. 9, according to Salisbury police. The impersonators told the Salisbury resident she missed jury duty and “attempted to get her to send them $12,000,” according to a press release from police. The resident did not send any money, according to authorities.

A caller convinced a resident of Meadowbrook Circle West to buy gift cards and give the numbers of the gift cards by phone in exchange to having her computer fixed, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 12.

Disturbances

Officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., for a disturbance Dec. 9, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Susquehanna Street for a disturbance Dec. 10, according to Salisbury Police. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Seidersville Road for a disturbance Dec. 11, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Exeter Road for a disturbance Dec. 13, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Garden Avenue for a disturbance Dec. 14, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Salisbury Road for a disturbance Dec. 17, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Theft

A package, valued at approximately $70, was removed from in front of a residence in the 1400 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 15.

Unsafe conditions

Officers were called to Laubach Park for a report of several juveniles standing on the frozen pond Dec. 12, according to Salisbury police. No one was found at the scene when officers arrived, according to authorities. The Salisbury Township Police Department reminds residents to not walk on or skate on the ponds at Franko Park or Laubach Park.

Unwanted person

Officers were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Dec. 16 for an unwanted person, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Vaping device

A 15-year-old Salisbury High School student was cited for allegedly bringing a vaping device onto school grounds, 500 E. Montgomery St., Dec. 15, according to Salisbury police.

Assist

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police troopers on Interstate 78 near Summit Lawn at a three-vehicle motor vehicle crash Dec. 16, according to Salisbury police.

Violations approved

Between Dec. 9 and Dec. 18, eight school bus video violations were approved, bringing this school year’s total to 155 approved violations, according to Salisbury police.
