Thomas B. Roeder
Thomas B. Roeder, 80, of Schnecksville, died Dec. 28, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Nardozzi) Roeder, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William G. and Anita E. (Minnich) Roeder. He was a 1963 graduate of William Allen High School and attended Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 with the Army Security Agency. He was employed as a senior designer for Mack Trucks, Inc. in Allentown for 22 years before retiring in 2006. Before that, he worked for W2A Architects in Allentown, Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg, N.J. and the former Bethlehem Steel Corp.
An avid motorcyclist, he was a life member of the Harley Owners Group. He also was a life member of the Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club, New Tripoli and held memberships in the Egypt V.F.W. Post No. 7293, Whitehall, and the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post No. 16, Slatington.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Dr. Jeffrey A. (Theresa), of Harrisburg, William A., of Schnecksville; grandchildren, Noah, Everly and Emma.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 9, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
