LCTI’s emerging health professionals and animal sciences programs are perfect fits for high school seniors who plan to pursue careers in health care or the care and treatment of animals.
These programs are made possible by the partnerships of LCTI, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Penn State Lehigh Valley, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Lehigh Valley Zoo and Macungie Animal Hospital.
The programs are intensive and dual enrollment, designed to give students a head start on college and expose them to a variety of professions in health care and animal sciences and veterinary medicine through job shadows, hands-on training and clinical study at facilities across the region.
Applications are currently being accepted for the 2026-27 school year, and the submission deadline for applications is Jan. 23.
