Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative is hosting 2026 cash bingo fundraisers, scheduled for Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 8 and April 12 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay. Doors will open 1 p.m., and bingo starts 2 p.m.

The jackpot is $200.

As we enter the winter months, be prepared for early dismissals, delays and closings. WCSD will utilize the mass notification system, social media and WFMZ to report these weather-related changes in schedule. Decisions will be made as soon as possible based on each scenario.

For early dismissal, students will be dismissed from school based on predicted weather that will impact safe transportation. Dismissal times will vary.

For a two-hour delay, bus pickups and school start times will occur two hours later than the regularly scheduled times. When Schools are closed, there is no instruction; schools and buildings will be closed. A virtual learning day may be assigned.
