David K. Grow, 74, of Macungie, died at home, surrounded by his loving family, Dec. 23, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Susan L. (Diaz) “Verhauz” Grow. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late James A. III and Arlene B. (Sharrer) Grow.

He was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church in Trexlertown.

He earned his associate degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College in accounting. He was a banker at various banks and financial institutions for almost 50 years, retiring as an assistant vice president at National Penn Bank.

A devoted grandfather to his seven grandchildren, his passion was coaching.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brittany K. Barbour and her husband, Neville; son, Alexander K.; brothers, Ronald C. Troxell and James A. IV; seven grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth J. Troxell.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 2, 2026, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton streets, Allentown. A visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. before the service in the funeral home.
