David A. Zellers Sr., 94, of Kunkletown, died Dec. 1, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Rohrbach) Zellers.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Ralph H. Sr. and Stella (Schaffer) Zellers.

He served his country in the U.S. Army as a private in Japan from 1948 to 1950.

He was a truck driver, employed by Roadway Trucking Corp., Phillipsburg, for 19 years until retiring in 1986. After retiring, he took a part-time position driving a school bus for First Student, serving Northampton Area School District for five years.

He attended Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath.

He is survived by a son, David A. Jr. of Slatington and companion Kristina Kloss; two daughters, Gloria Farenkopf of Kunkletown and Esther Fry and companion Corey Derhammer of Northampton; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by seven brothers; and one sister.
