Strangulation

A 45-year-old male, of Wescosville, was arrested for alleged strangulation of another person after an incident at a location along Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported to state police Dec. 6.

A 37-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for alleged strangulation and simple assault after an incident at a location along Mountain Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:57 p.m. Dec. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

A 57-year-old male, of Alburtis, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Congdon Hill Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:03 p.m. Nov. 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 23-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Pinecrest Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 11:56 p.m. Oct. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 29-year-old female, of Emmaus, was allegedly driving under in the influence along North Street in Emmaus borough 2:26 a.m. Nov. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 47-year-old female, of Allentown, was found to allegedly be driving under the influence after troopers were called to a parking lot at retailer Home Depot, 5877 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 13 for a welfare check of a person in the parking lot, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI crash

A 28-year-old male, of Zionsville, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after state police were called to a vehicle crash along Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 9:19 p.m. Nov. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

A retail theft was reported at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, 7:27 p.m. Dec. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Further details were not provided.

A 20-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly removed 13 items valued at approximately $209 from retailer Walmart Supercenter, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Items taken included men’s underwear, miscellaneous toys with a total value of $124.30, a wireless controller, valued at $54 and watchbands, according to authorities.

A 51-year-old male, of Alburtis, was arrested for retail theft after he allegedly removed grocery items with a total value of $160.56 from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:53 p.m. Nov. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Two people allegedly removed an air fryer valued at $232.14 from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:49 p.m. Sept. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Burglary

Three people forced their way into a secured area containing garbage dumpsters at BMS Logistics, Inc., Quarry Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:45 a.m. Oct. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The burglars then removed an unknown amount of cat food from the area, according to authorities.

Theft

Someone removed $95 cash from a purse at retailer Walgreens, 6379 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 11:03 a.m. Nov. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

Two people were charged with harassment after they allegedly shoved each other when an argument about Christmas lights became a fight at a location on Rutherford Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 5:22 p.m. Dec. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 16-year-old male, of Chester, allegedly damaged another person’s vehicle and kicked the passenger of the vehicle at a location along Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:50 p.m. Dec. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Counterfeit

Someone used a counterfeit $100 bill at bakery Nothing Bundt Cakes, 6379 Hamilton Blvd. Suite D, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 2 or Dec. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
