Stolen vehicle

A 47-year-old female, of Alburtis, was taken into custody for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle and driving under the influence after a traffic stop along West Main Street in Macungie borough Nov. 15, according to Macungie police. The female was described as the driver of the vehicle by authorities. According to court documents available Dec. 17, charges also included receiving stolen property.

Public intoxication and disorderly conduct

A 64-year-old male, of Macungie, was restrained by police officers after allegedly attempting to assault EMS personnel when they were called to the area of South Church and Locust streets in Macungie borough for an intoxicated person on the ground Nov. 20, according to Macungie police. The male also allegedly was aggressive toward police officers. The male was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment, according to authorities.

Weapons violations

A 59-year-old male, of Slatington, was taken into custody for allegedly being in possession of a “prohibited offensive weapon” at a traffic stop in the 500 block of East Main Street in Macungie borough Nov. 5, according to Macungie police. The male was described as the driver of the vehicle by authorities.

Warrant service

A 31-year-old woman, of Slatington, was taken into custody on an active warrant for driving under the influence at a traffic stop in the area of Willow and West Main streets in Macungie borough Nov. 5, according to Macungie police.
