Celebrate New Year’s Eve with family event

Upper Macungie Township will hold its annual family-friendly Kids Noon Year’s Eve party 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.
There will be inflatables, games, vendors, food trucks, bubble station, face painting, balloon animals, music and a noon balloon drop.
The township’s winter session of Zumba with instructor Donna Barats will take place 6-7 p.m. Mondays Jan. 5 through Feb. 11, 2026, at Jaindl Elementary, 1051 Weilers Road.
This 6-week Zumba session will improve your cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, all while making friends and having a blast.
Yoga Flow’s winter session will be held 5–6 p.m. Tuesdays Jan. 6 through Feb. 10, 2026, at Veterans Elementary Gymnasium, 250 Twin Ponds Road.
Yoga Flow features a vinyasa style, linking energetic movement with breath, creating a continuous and flowing practice.
This program is suitable for beginners or those wishing to reconnect with their practice.
Each session will focus on fundamental poses (or asanas), breathing techniques and mind-body focus emphasizing the connection between physical movement and mental awareness. Participants should bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
Mighty Kicks Youth Soccer Winter Session I will take place Wednesdays, Jan. 7 through Feb. 4, 2026, in the gymnasium at Jaindl Elementary (unless otherwise noted).
Mighty Kicks is the introductory soccer option for children ages 2-8 years old.
This program is designed to build motor skills, life skills, self-confidence and basic soccer techniques.
Class times by age group are: 5-5:30 p.m. 2-year-olds, 5:40-6:20 p.m. 3-4-year-olds, 6:30-7:10 p.m. 5-6-year-olds and 7:20-8 p.m. 5-8 year-olds.
In partnership with Lehigh Valley Martial Arts, Upper Macungie Township residents ages 5 and older can attend a free community self-defense class 1-2 p.m. Jan. 10, 2026.
All classes will take place at the LVMA Trexlertown location.
If you do not have experience in self-defense or if you are interested in learning new skills and habits, the class will cover the basics and foundations of self-defense, how to practice and continue learning. Although this program is free, you must preregister.

Ziegels Union Church Helping Hands Youth group will meet 12:15-2:30 p.m. Jan. 4, 2026, at 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville.
This youth group program is open to all first grade through high school students in the community.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will hold its free community curbside pickup dinner 5 p.m. Jan. 16, 2026, while supplies last.
All are welcome.
The dinners are held on the third Friday of every other month except in November, it will be held on the second Friday of the month.
