In addition, Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is closed for Christmas vacation Dec. 24-Jan. 3, 2026.

Borough council will hold a special meeting 6:30 p.m. Dec. 29 to interview candidates and fill the vacant council seat. The open term will expire Jan. 3, 2028. The deadline to send a resume and/or letter of interest is Dec. 26.

Delinquent trash bill notices have been sent out. Residents have until Dec. 30 to pay them before the unpaid balances get sent to Portnoff Law for collection.
