Allen Township residents may place their live/real Christmas trees curbside for collection by the public works department. Place your undecorated Christmas tree curbside on the evening before trash collection.

Public works will continue to drive around the municipality through January to collect trees on Thursdays with the regular garbage collection.

Residents who wish to dispose of their tree in this manner must remove all ornaments, tinsel, decorations and lights from the tree before placing it curbside.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, will hold its next breakfast 8-11 a.m. Jan. 18, 2026. There is a cost.

Lappawinzo is planning an Atlantic City casino trip 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Feb. 22, 2026. There is a cost, with a rebate if you sign up by Feb. 1, 2026.

Looking ahead, the Governor Wolf Historical Society will be hosting its 17th annual antiques show, set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 7, 2026, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 8, 2026. The historical society is located at 6600 Jacksonville Road.
