St. Luke’s EMT
Philip S. Cardinale, 58, of Fleetwood, formerly of Chesapeake, Va., died unexpectedly Dec. 16, 2025, at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, Fla. He was the husband of Michelle L. (Krause) Cardinale to whom he was married 27 years. Born in Paterson, N.J., he was the son of the late Anthony and Ellen Marie (Doerpheld) Cardinale.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Gulf War. He was employed as an EMT for St. Luke’s Emergency Transport Services in Fountain Hill for the last 18 years. He was a former volunteer firefighter and fire marshal for the Fogelsville Fire Company and Volunteer EMT at Cetronia Ambulance Corps.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville. He was an avid Mets fan and loved talking sports with his boys.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Sean P. and Ryan C. both at home; brother, Anthony, of Dingman Ferry; sister-in-law, Gwen, of Lackawaxen; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas.
