Weekends to the week after Christmas
The Star & Candle Shoppe: Moravian History Store of the Moravian Archives. Central Moravian Church items for sale, including paper stars and beeswax candles all four weekends. Hours are the same as those for the Putz and is across hall from the Putz, lower level of the C. E. building, 40 W. Church St.
Friday, Dec. 26, to Thursday, Jan. 1: Opening and closing days of Kwanzaa, a seven day celebration of African-American and Pan- African values of families, culture, community responsibility, commerce and self-improvement. Events represent harvest festival traditions from areas of Africa.
Tuesday, Dec. 30 and Wednesday, Dec. 31: 17th return of the 400 pound Peep drop to ring in the New Year 2026. Sneak-Peeps debut a new Easter 2026 flavor. Complimentary tote for ages 12 and under (conditions apply) at entry. PBS39 Experience for families has a sensory friendly space. There is a Wellness Room for nursing mothers. Activities include Diorama contest winners, a bracelet craft and Peeps in the Kitchen with Chef Julie of Levy restaurants. Peep chick drop is at 5:45 p.m. on both Dec. 30 and 31 and a fireworks display.
