Blair G. Kress Sr., 80, of Whitehall, died Dec. 16, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Carol L. (Parsons) Kress. Born in New York City, N.Y. he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Reba C. (George) Kress.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He attended and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. He owned and operated the former Pyramid Sharpening and Grinding in Whitehall from 1978 to 2001.

He is survived by children, Sean C. (Tammie), of Palmerton, Laura M. Baumann (Thomas Jr.), of Whitehall, Blair G. Jr., of Schnecksville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren

He was predeceased by a brother, Jay A.
