Blair G. Kress Sr., 80, of Whitehall, died Dec. 16, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Carol L. (Parsons) Kress.

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Reba C. (George) Kress.

He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He owned and operated the former Pyramid Sharpening and Grinding in Whitehall from 1978 to 2001.

He is survived by three children, Sean C. with Tammie of Palmerton, Laura M. Baumann with Thomas Jr. of Whitehall and Blair G. Jr. of Schnecksville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jay A.
