State police were called to a location on Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:15 p.m. Oct. 21 for the report of a sexual assault involving a female child, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Burglary
Someone broke into a residence along Mertztown Road, Lower Macungie Township, between Aug. 6 and Oct. 6 and removed multiple power tools, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The tools were valued at approximately $4,150 and included a portable welder and rods, valued at $800, a table saw valued at $600, drills, a jigsaw, a skill saw, a socket set, a leather tool belt, a chop saw, valued at $600, an angle grinder and other items, according to authorities.
DUI
A 35-year-old male, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of Chestnut Street and Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:39 p.m. Oct. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 64-year-old male, of East Greenville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along the 3500 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, 5:27 p.m. Oct. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 45-year-old female, of Bethlehem, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Ridge Street in Emmaus borough 2:21 a.m. Oct. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 36-year-old male, of New Tripoli, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 1:34 a.m. Aug. 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Drug possession
A 20-year-old female, of Sellersville, allegedly was in possession of illegal drugs at a traffic stop along Interstate 78 West, Lower Macungie Township, 8:50 p.m. Oct. 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 26-year-old male, of Emmaus, allegedly was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia at a traffic stop near the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:59 a.m. Oct. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 20-year-old male, of Emmaus, allegedly was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at a traffic stop in the 4600 block of Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:07 a.m. Oct. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft
A paddleboard, valued at $749, was removed from a residence in the 5400 block of Walnut Lane, Upper Milford Township, Oct. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The paddleboard was later returned. Charges were not filed.
A resident of Columbus Drive, Upper Milford Township, reported a theft overnight Nov. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Simple trespass
A 59-year-old male, of Philadelphia, was cited for simple trespass after he was allegedly found sleeping in the Coin Laundry laundromat location at 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 1:53 a.m. Oct. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Harassment
A woman’s former boyfriend allegedly chased her while she was driving in her vehicle and tackled her to the ground when she tried to flee on foot at a location along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, between 3 p.m. and 3:22 p.m. Oct. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A Lower Macungie Township resident received unwanted phone calls Oct. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 37-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly struck another person and brandished a weapon when an argument turned physical at a location in the 900 block of Cold Spring Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:01 p.m. Oct. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Troopers were called to a location along Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a fight involving two people 2:31 p.m. Oct. 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Troopers were called to Eyer Middle School, Buckeye Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a fight involving two juveniles Nov. 10, according to authorities.
Weapon on school property
State police were called to Wescosville Elementary School, Liberty Lane, Lower Macungie Township, for someone bringing a knife onto school property Sept. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Receiving stolen property
A Pennsylvania registration plate reported as stolen was located on a vehicle in a parking lot on Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:08 p.m. Oct. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The license plate was valued at $48.
Theft
A customer’s wallet was stolen at retailer Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The wallet contained various credit cards, $34 cash and a New Jersey driver’s license.
A customer allegedly used suspected stolen credit cards to purchase $7,000 worth of flooring at retailer Crest Flooring, 6412 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between Nov. 13 and 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Scam
Someone swindled unnamed residents of a location along Lenni Circle, Upper Milford Township, out of $31,000, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Oct. 29, according to authorities.
Retail theft
Four youths were held at Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 29 after they allegedly attempted to remove various merchandise with a total value of $200, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Someone removed various items, including a fragrance tester valued at $210, from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The person concealed items in a jacket and left the store.
Two people allegedly worked together to remove merchandise valued at $507 from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A person was taken into custody for alleged retail theft at Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Two men were seen allegedly under-ringing items at Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 52-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested after allegedly removing groceries valued at $303.87 from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Stolen vehicle
A motor vehicle was removed from a location along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, sometime between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Criminal mischief
Siding on a mobile home along South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, was damaged Oct. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A motorist found damage to two vehicle tires at a location along Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, happening between 10:15 p.m. Oct. 24 and 6:45 a.m. Oct. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The tires were valued at $465.18, according to authorities.
A battery was removed, a brake line was cut and grease was smeared on a classic vehicle at a location along Church View Road, Lower Milford Township, between 5 p.m. Nov. 6 and 5 a.m. Nov. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of Church View Road, Lower Milford Township, discovered a security camera at the residence was knocked off its mounts and turned off, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 14.
Corruption of minors
Someone persuaded a young teen to send explicit photos of himself after the teen and the suspect texted through an app, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. After the teen sent the photos, the person began demanding money to prevent the photos from being sent to the teen’s family, according to authorities. The teen sent approximately $290 in gift cards in payments in the scheme.
Dog law violation
A resident, of Zionsville, was arrested for a dog law violation Nov. 27 after an incident along Corning Road, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Identity theft
A resident of Carls Hill Road, Upper Milford Township, learned their personal information was stolen between Oct. 1 and 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of Cassel Road, Lower Milford Township, learned an unauthorized loan was opened using their personal information, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelxille. The incident was reported Aug. 4.
