Shots fired
Township officers responded to the 1300 block of Constitution Road for a report of shots fired Dec. 8, according to Salisbury police. Fresh shell casings were found in the area but no one was around, according to authorities.
Retail theft
Three people were recorded on store security cameras allegedly removing merchandise from Giant Food Stores, 3300 Lehigh St., South Mall, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 8.
DUI
A 38-year-old female, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence Dec. 7 after, while handling a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Broadway, officers saw a gray vehicle illegally passing another vehicle, according to Salisbury police. When officers caught up to the vehicle, they saw the gray vehicle was tailgating another vehicle and crossing the double yellow lines, according to authorities.
A 47-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was stopped in the area of Broadway and Roosevelt Street for failing to drive within a single lane and later arrested for allegedly driving under the influence Dec. 7, according to Salisbury police.
Theft
A 45-year-old male, of Philadelphia, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after he allegedly found and removed a lost wallet from Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police. Authorities outlined the incident as follows: On Dec. 3, officers were called to the hospital where an Emmaus resident told police about misplacing her wallet, which included cash, credit cards and her ID. Hospital security video showed the Philadelphia man allegedly finding and leaving “the hospital with her wallet making no attempt to notify police or hospital staff,” according to a press release from police.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
A 48-year-old female, of Neffs, was charged Dec. 4 with allegedly having drug paraphernalia at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police.
Check fraud
A resident of Illingsworth Avenue reported being the victim of check fraud Dec. 3, according to Salisbury police.
Disturbance
Officers were called to the 1100 block of Maumee Avenue for a disturbance Dec. 7, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to the 900 block of South 24th Street for a disturbance Dec. 5, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to the 3100 block of Essex Road for a disturbance Dec. 6, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Disorderly conduct
A one-armed man was seen allegedly urinating in a parking lot at South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., Dec, 4, according to Salisbury police.
Road rage
On Dec. 5, officers were called to the 3000 block of Lehigh Street for a disturbance caused by road rage. The incident was detailed in a press release as follows: During the incident the driver of the one vehicle spat at the driver of another vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle then threw coffee at the driver of the first vehicle, according to authorities.
Found wallet
On Dec. 8, a resident from the 1200 block of Maumee Avenue found a black wallet near her home and turned it over to the police. According to police, the wallet was found to have small white pills and a small bag of a powdery white substance believed to be cocaine inside. Should the owner of this wallet wish to claim his/her wallet they may stop at police headquarters, 3000 S. Pike Ave.
Violations approved
Between Dec. 3 and Dec. 8, a total of eight school bus video violations were approved, according to Salisbury police, bringing the current total to 147 approved violations for the 2025-2026 school year.
