William D. Kocher, M.D., 67, of Moores-town, N.J., died Dec. 1, 2025. He was the husband of Lydia (Komarnicky) Kocher, MD.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Marlene and the late William L. Kocher.

He had a rich career as a pathologist, but his life’s passion was medical education. For more than a decade, he served as senior associate dean of admissions and associate professor of biomedical sciences at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and received numerous student-nominated accolades during his career.

He is survived by two children, Kristen Kocher Ph.D. with Stephan Nazarian and Alex; a grandchild, Sofia; two brothers, Doug with Janet and David; and a niece, Lauren.
