The Rev. Dr. David S. Mohr, 88, died Dec. 4, 2025, in Allentown. He was the husband of Grace C. Wolf for 67 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Anna (Brunner) Mohr.

He lived in Slatington from first to 10th grade before moving back to Allentown where he graduated from Allentown High School in 1955. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Franklin and Marshall College in 1959, a Master of Divinity degree in 1963 and a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1991 from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster.

He was ordained in 1963 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Allentown and served several churches including Ziegels Union Church in Breinigsville for 19 years before retiring in 1999. He was an active member in the former Penn Northeast Conference.

For more than 25 years, he served in various capacities for Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

He is survived by four children, Deborah Koelsch of Mt. Joy, Rebecca Mohr with Vicki Poole of Dallastown, Peter with Regina of Orefield and Martha Zink of Palmerton; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Richard and John Jr.

There will be a calling time noon-1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at St. John’s UCC, 575 Grape St., Whitehall.
