Northampton police

Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

NOV. 1

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1000, 2000 and 2100 blocks of Main Street; at Laubach Avenue and East 18th Street; in the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue; and at West 21st and Canal streets.

Officers checked the area at Main and East 20th streets.

A reportable accident involving two vehicles occurred at West 21st and Main streets.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 2400 block of Cherryville Road.

Officers assisted a female in the 1800 block of Main Street.

Suspicious activity in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported. Teenage boys with flashlights were looking into parked vehicles.

NOV. 2

Traffic stops were conducted in the 300 and 2100 blocks of Main Street, at Main Street and Hudson Court, at West 21st and Canal streets, in the 100 block of Held Drive, at East 21st Street and Northampton Avenue, on West Ninth Street, at East 21st Street and Siegfried Avenue, in the 600 block of East 21st Street, the unit block of West 21st Street and at Main and East 18th streets.

A juvenile problem was reported in the 200 block of West 30th Street.

In the 600 block of East 21st Street, a report of a civil issue was filed with the department.

Police assisted a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

NOV. 3

Traffic stops were conducted on West Ninth Street, at Lincoln Avenue and East 21st Street, in the unit block of West 21st Street, the 400 block of East Fourth Street, the 600 block of East 21st Street, the 900 and 1000 blocks of Main Street, at West 10th and Canal streets, in the 1900 block of Center Street, at Main Street and Cedar Alley and at Williams and Canal streets.

Reports of disturbances were investigated in the 1000 and 1200 blocks of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of males in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue and the 200 block of Diamond Street.

Police assisted females in the 2100 block of Hokendauqua Avenue and at West Ninth and Main streets and North Catasauqua officers in the 1100 block of Third Street, North Catasauqua.

NOV. 4

Traffic stops were conducted at Laubach Avenue and Hudson Court, in the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Main Street, at Main and East 17th streets and in the 1400 block of Line Alley.

Reports of civil matters were addressed at East 18th Street and Washington Avenue and in the 2000 block of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the unit block of West 21st Street, the 1300 block of Newport Avenue and the 1600 block of Canal Street.

A domestic dispute involving a male and a female took place in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue.

Suspicious activity — a male seen trying to open vehicle doors — in the 1500 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

NOV. 5

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street, the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue, at Clear Springs and Horwith drives, in the 2000 block of Main Street and the 2100 block of Washington Avenue.

Reports of civil matters had police in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue.

On Smith Lane, officers assisted a female.

NOV. 6

Police assisted a male in the 1500 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1300 block of Main Street and on West Ninth Street.

Civil matters were reported in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue and the 1200 block of Main Street.

Reports of suspicious activity in the 200 block of West 26th Street and the unit block of Keglovits Lane were investigated.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 1300 block of Main Street.

NOV. 7

Suspicious activity in the unit block of Main Street was reported.

Officers assisted Northampton County constables in the 1600 block of Railroad Street and the 800 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1300 block of Laubach Avenue, at Main and East 18th streets and in the unit block of West 21st Street.

Suspicious activity reports were investigated in the 300, 500 and 600 blocks of East 10th Street. Numerous calls involved a male with his face covered approaching ring door cameras and placing a piece of black tape over the lens.

NOV. 8

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 300 block of East 10th Street.

Disturbances were reported in the unit block of West 17th Street and the unit block of West 21st Street.

Officers assisted Catasauqua police in the 200 block of Edwards Lane, Catasauqua.

A traffic stop occurred in the 500 block of Main Street.

Two vehicles were involved in a reportable accident in the 200 block of East Second Street.

NOV. 9

A disturbance in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Juvenile issues were reported in the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Washington Avenue.

NOV. 10

Traffic stops were conducted in the 100 block of Jeffrey Lane and the 1800 and 2000 blocks of Main Street.

In the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue, police responded to a report of a civil matter.

Officers assisted a male in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.

NOV. 11

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1900 block of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

An unwanted male in the 1000 block of Main Street was reported.

NOV. 12

A report of criminal mischief — two legally parked vehicles egged — in the 1300 block of Canal Street was investigated.

A report of ID fraud in the 500 block of Buckingham Drive was filed with the department.

Police assisted Moore Township officers in the 1900 block of Hokendauqua Avenue in locating a vehicle.

Officers checked on the welfare of males in the 1900 block of Hokendauqua Avenue and the 100 block of Lilac Court.
