Moore Township: Township supervisors’ next meeting scheduled for Jan. 2
Moore Township Board of Supervisors will next meet 6 p.m. Jan. 2, 2026, at the municipal building. A meeting agenda is available on the township website, mooretownship.org.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board will next meet 7 p.m. Jan. 12, 2026, at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within the township.

The township recreation committee will meet 7 p.m. Jan. 15, 2026, at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.
The committee is providing an opportunity to purchase a brick for the veterans memorial at the recreation center. Visit donate.brickmarkers.com/moore to donate or for information on how to order a memorial brick.

Bingo is played 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.
There will be prizes, a progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, wash line bingo and more fun.

Moore Township Association for Families in Need meets the second Tuesday of each month at Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive.

Moore Township seeks to fill two vacancies, with one-year terms, on the township’s Americans with Disabilities Act Committee. The committee is charged to help ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Yard waste drop-off is 7 a.m.-2:25 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 7 a.m.-dusk Saturdays at the township complex. Note the time change during the week. Drop-off is closed most holidays.
The bins for drop-off are located near the public works garage, through the gate and to the right. There is one bin for weeds and one bin for brush.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Nazareth, hosts Scout Troop 74 meetings 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Scouting is for boys and girls 10 years old and up.

The Moore Township emergency management coordinator remind residents emergencies can happen while traveling. An accident or weather-related incident can cause significant delays. When traveling, keep a small kit containing drinks, snacks, a flashlight and a blanket. The best way to deal with an emergency is to be prepared.
