The VFW will host Wicked Alibi Dec. 19 and Tim Harakal Jan. 9, 2026. Both concerts begin 7 p.m.

Egypt and Cementon residents, get ready for Operation Santa 2025! Santa Claus will be starting his deliveries 10 a.m. Dec. 21 to families who had dropped off wrapped, labeled gifts by Dec. 15.

Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service 4:30 p.m. Dec. 24.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, has Christmas Eve services set for 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 24. The service will be available on the church’s website and Facebook page 10 p.m.

The church will hold a service of lessons and carols 9 a.m. Dec. 28 and then an Epiphany service with Holy Communion 7 p.m. Jan. 6, 2026.

Egypt Memorial Park members are invited to the yearly membership meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 13, 2026. Light refreshments will be available.

Nonmembers are encouraged to apply for membership. Past events have included egg hunts, festivals, car shows and trunk or treat. The park board welcomes suggestions for additional events. There is a cost to join.

Aerobic dance fitness classes will take place 6:30-7:30 p.m. every Tuesday in December, January and February in the heated pavilion at Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St. Bring water, a mat and dumbbells, if you have them.
