NAMS is holding a fundraiser of soft, warm and comfy Northampton blankets measuring 60 inches by 70 inches. All proceeds go toward student rewards and activities.

Each blanket costs $30 (cash only). Your order will not be placed until payment is made. Send your cash to Mrs. Cowitch at the school’s main office.

A reminder as the temperature starts to cool: All coats, blankets, etc., must be kept in student lockers and not worn throughout the school day.

Pennsylvania Department of Education approved NASD to use five flexible instructional days as an alternate approach to delivering instruction in place of a day otherwise canceled due to inclement weather or building emergency. PDE will count an FID as a full day of school. During an FID, students will engage in at-home online learning.

Whenever possible, the day before an FID, students and parents will be alerted that NASD will implement an FID. If the FID is canceled due to the severity of the weather or other emergency, an additional message will be sent.

Visit the NASD website with more detailed scheduling for such days.

NAMS’ PTA group is holding a winter Northampton beanie sale. Drop off an envelope with the student’s name, homeroom and exact change to the office.

Hats will be distributed at the end of each week.
