Deacon Thomas B. Reimer, 75, of Whitehall, died Dec. 10, 2025. He was the husband of Joanne (Backhaus) Reimer for 54 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harold and Geraldine (Laub) Reimer.

He graduated from Dieruff High School in 1968.

He was a commercial paperhanger and painter by trade, retiring from the DC 21 Union of Paperhangers and Allied Trades of Philadelphia in 2008.

Before his retirement, he was ordained a permanent deacon in the Catholic church in May 2006. Having served 24 years in the Diocese of Allentown in various parishes, he also utilized his background in his trade to help beautify some of the local churches.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Michael with spouse Janet of Palmerton and Marissa with spouse Jason Robbins of Coplay; three grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Morgan and Mason Robbins; and a brother, Frederick with spouse Nancy of Macungie.
