Bernard “Bernie” R. Homiak, 85, of Macungie, died Dec. 13, 2025. He was the husband of Ann (Wasco) “Tesche” Homiak. He was the son of the late Steven and Eleanor (Kaminsky) Homiak.

He served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger and he was in the elite Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol.

He was the general manager at Emmaus Ford. He also worked at various automobile dealerships, retiring from Scott Chevrolet.

He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark and his wife, Tamra; stepson, Eric Tesche and his wife, Melissa; grandson, Tristan; step-grandchildren, Luke and Sara.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Olga and his infant daughter, Irene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus, 18049. A viewing will be held 9-10:15 a.m. Dec. 18 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
