Thomas C. Miller, 96, of Bethlehem, died December 3, 2025. Born in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York, he was a son of the late NYPD Sgt. Cornelius Miller and Ruth (Barning) Miller. He was the husband of Bunny (Bantle) Miller and of the late Jean (Dempsey) Miller for 31 years.
He served in Germany during the Korean War.
He earned a BA degree at St. John’s University with a major in Accounting and Economics, followed by evening studies at NYU Graduate School of Finance. He completed the Graduate School of Credit and Finance Management during three summers at the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
He lived in Hong Kong. He retired from Bankers’ Trust after 40 years as a senior vice president in charge of risk in the Asia/Pacific region. He remained as a consultant for three additional years.
He was on the boards of the Bethlehem Historic District, New Bethany Ministries, NODA (No One Dies Alone) at LVHN, for pastoral care at St. Luke’s and the Northampton County Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council. He received the Northampton County Seniors Award in 2019.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Neil (Pam) of King of Prussia; Ross (Kathy) of Stewartsville, New Jersey; Tom (Betzi) of Florence, Massachusetts, and Jon James (Mia) of Oakland, California; and four grandchildren, Katie, Chris, Becky and Harry.
