Grants approved for Lehigh County

Sen. Nick Miller (D-Lehigh/Northampton) and Sen. Lisa Boscola (D-Lehigh/Northampton) announced that nine grants have been awarded to aid crime victims, promote crime prevention and aid in the administration of criminal justice administration in both Lehigh and Northampton counties by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, totaling $1,662,307.

“Investing in community safety and violence intervention is essential to building stronger, healthier neighborhoods,” said Miller. “This funding strengthens the long-term stability of essential programs, from expanded mental health responses to effective firearm-intervention and prevention efforts. Today’s awards deliver the resources our Lehigh Valley communities need to stay safe, support recovery, and ensure these critical initiatives continue making a real difference.”
