Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My family includes Christine, Kevin and Lexi; pets: Lulu, Colby, Valentina, Josephine, Beau, Ember, Ziti, Tortellini, Rigatoni, Ravioli and Linguini.

Q. As a senior, do you have any specific goals you will pursue this academic year?

A. My academic goals this year are to learn through hands-on experience and take advantage of opportunities I haven’t had before. I want to grow not only in the classroom but also through real-world learning.

Q. What is your favorite class at Salisbury High School? Why?

A. My favorite class is AP Literature with Dr. B. It’s my only class at the high school this year, but I enjoy having Dr. B as a teacher. I like his teaching style.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. Yes. I have earned awards in volleyball as well as recognition on the Principal’s Honor Roll and scholarship awards.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved impacted your high school experience?

A. In past years, I played sports and participated in clubs, which taught me discipline and teamwork. This year, I am the secretary of FFA and I am focusing on my college courses and my job, which has given me valuable real-world experience and helped me become more responsible and independent.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge has been thinking about my future and making decisions that will shape the path ahead of me. It has pushed me to reflect, plan and grow.

Q. At this time, what are your plans for the future beyond high school?

A. I plan to attend the LCCC Honors Program and then transfer to a four-year university. My long-term goal is to earn my VMD or DVM and pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with a historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?

A. I would choose Jesus, because I would love to hear His stories firsthand and learn everything I can about His life, teachings and experiences. He is my role model and it would be so cool to meet Him.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered for my kindness and the positive impact I had on the people around me.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. My advice is to never give up on your goals, because one day your work will pay off. Even when life doesn’t go the way you expected, stay grateful for where you are.
