Simple possession
An 18-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was arrested Dec. 2 for alleged simple possession, loitering and prowling at night after officers were called to a residence in the 1300 block of Fairfax Street when the homeowner spotted a person outside of his home who possibly opened a door, according to Salisbury police. Officers found the male allegedly had six grams of a white powdery substance that field tested positive for cocaine and three grams of a substance that field tested positive for heroin, according to authorities.
Fraud
Someone convinced a resident of East Paoli Street to provide her banking information after reaching the resident by phone and telling her she won a prize, according Salisbury police. The incident was reported Nov. 24.
Warrant arrest
A motorist was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant after officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on South Cedar Crest Boulevard and Fish Hatchery Road Nov. 24, according to Salisbury police.
Vaping device on school grounds
A 15-year-old student at Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., was charged Nov. 24 with allegedly having a vaping device on campus, according to Salisbury police.
Check fraud
Staff at Scott Chevrolet, 3333 Lehigh St., reported check fraud Dec. 2, according to Salisbury police.
Disorderly conduct
A 55-year-old female, of Pottsville, was charged Nov. 29 with disorderly conduct after she allegedly “engaged in a disturbance” at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police.
Assist
Officers were called to help ambulance crew members who transported an intoxicated male for medical care who became aggressive at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Nov. 23, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Nov. 27 to assist hospital staff with a patient who was being held for a mental health issue who fled the hospital, according to Salisbury police. Officers helped locate the patient, who was safely returned to the hospital, according to authorities.
Disturbance
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Garden Avenue for a disturbance at a group home Nov. 24, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to the 600 block of East Lexington Street for a disturbance Nov. 27, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers responded to the 700 block of Yorkshire Road for a disturbance Nov. 30, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Mutual aid
Officers were requested for their assistance at a location along South Second Street in Emmaus for a fight Nov. 29, according to Salisbury police. Salisbury officers assisted Emmaus officers as needed.
Officers were requested for their assistance at a location in the 1100 block of Seneca Street in Fountain Hill for a domestic disturbance Nov. 30, according to Salisbury police. Salisbury officers assisted Fountain Hill officers as needed.
Officers were requested for their assistance in the 1500 block of Jeter Avenue in Fountain Hill for a person having a psychological issue Nov. 30, according to Salisbury police. Salisbury officers assisted Fountain Hill officers as needed.
Violations approved
Twenty-two school bus video violations were approved between Nov. 23 and Dec. 2, bringing the school year’s total to 139 approved violations, according to Salisbury police.
