The Salisbury Township Board of Directors held a reorganization meeting Dec. 3.
Newly elected board member Barbara Chomik was sworn into office to fill the unexpired two-year term of former director Joseph Kuzo. She was appointed following interviews in a field of nine candidates possessing a myriad of background experiences with the expressed goal of serving the tight-knit Salisbury Township school and community as a member of the school board.
Incumbent board members Rebecca Glenister, Joseph Gnall, Laura McKelvey and Ian Riccaboni were also sworn in during the meeting, each elected to serve a four-year term.
Leadership roles among board members remained the same as Joseph Gnall was reelected to serve as president while Sarah Nemitz will continue as vice president.
The board also approved the dates for committee meetings as well as regular school board meetings for the 2026 calendar year.
Upcoming meetings for the Salisbury Township school board include the operations/finance committee which will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 14, 2026 and the curriculum/technology meeting followed by a regular school board meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 21, 2026.
