During the Dec. 4 Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting, Lutron representatives Jeremy Nauert and Mike O’Brien made a donation to Lower Macungie Township’s emergency services (fire department and Macungie Ambulance). The commissioners expressed their gratitude.
A land development approval was on the agenda but was tabled at the request of the applicant.
Advertisement has been authorized for the ordinance amending Chapter 18 regarding sewers and sewage disposal, extra strength charges, sewer inspections, enforcement and a new sewer district. This was approved by the commissioners.
The Ash Lane Bridge replacement project was rejected due to pending development, north of the area in a neighboring township.
Minutes from the Nov. 20 meeting were approved. The bill list was approved.
Interviews were held for two of the candidates for the planning commission and zoning hearing board.
There was an executive session held over pending litigation.
