Week 14
Star of Bethlehem wons the 1st half of the Dart League season beating Ebenezer 6-3 and 3-2 in 10 innings losing the opener 8-5. Leading the way for Star of Bethlehem included Tyler Frankenfield 7-15 (HR), Scott Hoffert 5-15, Breanna Frankenfield 4-12 (HR) and Walt Hoffert 4-12. Paul Yoder was 7-12, Joe Kish 4-12, Tory Eppright 3-8( HR), John Costanzo 3-7 (HR) with HRs from Sean Costanzo and Jeanne Cristina.
After a 7-1 loss to Farmersville, Emmanuel came back to win 3-2 and 4-1. Top hitters for Emmanuel were Jack Hill 8-12, Tiffany Amato 6-11 (HR), Jon Rice 5-13 and Bob Bast also 5-13. For Farmersville, Sue Grim was 5-12 (HR), Kyle Campbell 5-12, Dennis Koehler 4-10, and Rick Kittek with a HR.
St. Paul’s won 2-0 and 11-0 over Blessed Trinity, losing the nightcap 4-2. Hitters for St. Paul’s were Jason Gross and Rich Kern each going 6-12, Jennifer Erkinger 5-14 and Kevin Gross 3-9 including “5 Hit by Pitcher” which might be a record. Chuck Crisafi was 3-11 and Bob Voron hit a HR for Blessed Trinity.
Dryland sandwiched 6-3 and 5-3 wins around a 3-2 loss to Christ UCC. Leading hitters for Dryland were Earl Sigley 6-12, Larry Golick 5-12 and Dave Crouthamel 4-12, while Steve Hunsicker was 5-12, Eric Yocum 4-11, Donnie Laudenslager 4-12 and Kevin Biechy with a HR for Christ UCC.
