Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, will offer free food distribution 2-4 p.m. only for East Penn School District residents. Regular distribution will resume in January of 2026. Signs will be posted with directions for parking and pickup.

Dec. 12

Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, will offer a free community meal 5-6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Take-out meals are also available. Call the church office at 610-966-3325 for the menu.

Dec. 13

Macungie Holiday will be held throughout the borough. Highlights include a scavenger hunt, a craft fair and a gingerbread competition and display at Kalmbach Memorial Park, 200 Cotton St., Macungie.

Christkindlmarkt in Bethlehem continues weekends through Dec. 21. Visit the website ChristmasCity.org for details.

Santa will make his way around Alburtis, Lower Macungie and Macungie Borough with a little help from the Lower Macungie Fire Department. (Rain date is Dec. 14.) Routes and estimated times are listed on the website lowermacungie.org in alphabetical order by neighborhood or municipality once they are available. Routes and time frames are provided so you can plan accordingly. Candy will be tossed to the kids, so please make sure your kids are careful when picking it up. Dec. 17

The Emmaus Historical Society’s annual Christmas party at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Chestnut Street in Emmaus 5:30 p.m. Call the museum with how many will be attending and to tell us if you will be bringing an appetizer or a dessert. Entrées, side dishes and drinks will be provided. Appetizers will be available as soon as you arrive before dinner. Holiday entertainment will be by Chris Lorenzetti on the violin and Andy Bauer on the euphonium. Bring a scarf, hat, gloves or socks to donate to our “help those in need” project in partnership with the Emmaus Police Department. Wear your favorite Christmas sweater – nonmember guests are welcome for the cost of a 2026 membership.

Dec. 20

The annual Eastern Salisbury Fire Department Santa Run will make its way through the Salisbury streets starting 9:30 a.m. Santa will be escorted by firefighters and other first responders.

Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company will escort Santa around Western Salisbury beginning 10 a.m.

March 6, 7

The Emmaus Public Library will host its sixth annual Tee Time at the Library event at the library, 11 E. Main St., Emmaus. Participants will play 18 holes of miniature golf in the library stacks. An exclusive event for those 21 and older will be held 6-9 p.m. March 6 and feature light refreshments, including one adult beverage as well as live music. A family-friendly event will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 7. Children 4 years and younger will play free. There is a cost for tickets.
