Stanley (Stan) E. Wetzel, 74, of Macungie, died peacefully Nov. 30, 2025. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Trexler) Wetzel. They shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Miller) Wetzel.

He took pride in his work and was the owner and operator of his own contracting business for many years.

After retirement, he enjoyed golfing, playing pool and enjoying time and activities with his fellow neighbors in the community. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Nicole and her husband, Paul Yergey Jr., of Fleetwood, Trisha and her husband, Matt McGrann, of Collegeville; sister, Virginia Yeager, of Allentown; brother, Michael and his companion, Tracy Taggart, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Kyra, Hunter, Josslyn and Landon.

He was predeceased by his brother, Alan.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 12 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
