Scott R. Pitts, 72, of Whitehall, died Nov. 28, 2025, at home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Earlene (Schlicher) and the late Charles Pitts.

He was a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He retired from the U.S. Army as a sergeant first class. He was stationed in Germany and Korea during the Vietnam era, serving from 1972 to 2002.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Nicole E. Landis; two brothers, Todd and Kelly; two grandchildren, Chloe and Grayson Landis; and a niece, Cori.

He was predeceased by a brother, Glenn.
