Kudos to the Catasauqua High School junior and senior students who recently had the incredible opportunity to spend the day in Harrisburg. Students toured the beautiful state Capitol building and met with Rep. Jeanne McNeill, Sen. Nick Miller, Lt. Gov. Austin Davis and Rep. Zach Mako to learn about careers in government and public policy.

Catasauqua Area School District will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 4, 2026, for winter break. Students return to school Jan. 5, 2026.

CASD Board of Education meetings are scheduled for 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Directors will meet in the board room at the administrative offices, 201 N. 14th St.

The new student application window for Lehigh Career and Technical Institute’s 2026-027 school year is open now, but the school will not begin accepting applications for the programs that serve students in grades 9 through 12 until January 2026.
