RaeLouise Royer Shinsky

RaeLouise (Royer) Shinsky, 49 of St. Lake Park, Fla. and formerly of Palmerton, died peacefully Dec. 6, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ronald L. and Norma E. (Meckes) Royer.

She spent her early years working for United Service Company until she had her two children and dedicated her life to them as a homemaker during their early years. She was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. Church in Laury’s Station. She returned to the workforce and was a successful client services analyst at Optum and volunteered for her local VFW 9610. She had a zest for life and was always willing to help anyone who was in need. She loved to fish just like her father, she enjoyed her volunteer work and loved her pets and her big family.

She is survived by her two children, Olivia R. and her partner, Elias Schroeder, of Manchester Center, Vt. and Dylan J., of Palmerton; brothers, Ryan L. and his wife, Sherry W., of Schnecksville, Chad L. and his wife, Heather L., of Slatington.

Services will be at the convenience of the family and a memorial service will be held at a time to be determined in the future. Online condolences may be made to the family through the Quattlebaum Funeral Home West Palm Beach, Fla.

Contributions may be made to St. John’s U.C.C. Church Memorial Fund, Laury’s Station.
