Marilyn Michael
Marilyn Michael, 95, formerly of Macungie, died Dec. 4, 2025, at Above and Beyond at the Knights, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Carl “Mike” Michael. Born in Moosic, Lackawanna County, she was the daughter of the late Harry O. and Ella (King) Willard and was one of eight children.
She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville.
She was employed by the former Merchants Bank for more than 20 years at various locations including Wescosville, Jordan Park, Southern Lehigh and Tannersville where she retired as bank manager and she was a member of the American Institute of Banking.
A love of baseball was instilled in her at an early age by her grandfather taking her to minor league games. This grew to her becoming enamored with her Philadelphia Phillies, seldom missing watching a televised game.
She was a voracious reader who valued higher education, loved completing crossword puzzles and lived vicariously through each of her children, having seen each of them graduate from college, which was her wish.
She is survived by sons, Barry W. (Susan), of Danville, Ky., Carl D. (Jane), of Sanford, Fla., Richard B. (Sue Ann), of Easton; daughter, Linda Findlay, of Alburtis; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Scott Craig.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
