Marchell “Shelly” M. Kuchera, 65, of Whitehall, died Dec. 3, 2025, at home. She was the husband of Gerald Yost for 42 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Rosemarie (Spanitz) Meiley.

She was a graduate of Northampton High School.

She was employed as an associate for various sporting good stores throughout the area. She retired as a warehouse technician for Cintas in 2020. She was a baton teacher for Stepping Out Dance Academy for several years.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, James and wife Joann Meiley; a sister, Lori and husband Dennis Proctor; three brothers-in-law, Bernard, Robert and Richard; a sister-in-law, Karen Deutsch; and several nieces and nephews.
