Lars William Knauss, 85, of Northampton and formerly of Wilson Borough, died Nov. 30, 2025, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of Theresa “Teddy” (Skrapits) Knauss for 63 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harrison W.F. and Dorothy (Deiter) Knauss.

He graduated from Wilson Borough High School in 1959.

He worked at Branch Motor Express Company for 21 years as a dispatcher and assistant terminal manager until it closed in August 1984. He then worked for various companies, including AT&T, Ryder PTE Trucking and Central Transport.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Justine Gibble and husband Kurt; a son, David and wife Linda; four grandchildren, Kristin Galli with Steven, Brittany, Bradley Gibble and Ashley; a great-granddaughter, Lily Galli; and a brother, Harrison R.
