John E. DiProperzio, 86, of Bath, died Nov. 25, 2025, at home. He was the husband of Cheryl DiProperzio for 54 years.

Born in Whitehall, he was the son of the late John DiProperzio and Ellen (Tognoli) Drajic.

He graduated from Whitehall High School in 1957.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for four years.

For more than 30 years, he owned and operated a local flooring business.

He was a drummer who played in two bands — The Scott Bedford Four and Dave Neith Orchestra.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jason and wife Lisa of Northampton and Brett of Bath; three grandchildren, Brianna with fiance Nick Korpics and Taylor and Michael; and one great-granddaughter, Elena Korpics.
