James F. Bailey, 59, of Walnutport, died Dec. 2, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Michelle J. (Ross) Bailey, to whom he was married for 35 years. Born in Palmerton, Carbon County, he was the son of the late Franklin James Bailey and Pearl Arlene (Rice) Bailey.

He was employed as a diesel mechanic by North American Bulk Transport in Nazareth for 30 years, last working in 2023.

He loved camping, his dogs, yearly trips to Gettysburg, truck shows, spending time with his family and hanging out in his garage while working on projects. He was known for always lending a hand to anyone who needed him. He took pride in his well-maintained yard, mowing grass on his John Deere tractor with a cold one in his hand.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Gregg J. and his wife, Shelby, of Slatington, Tim C. and his fiancé, Melissa, of Walnutport; canines, Toby, Tucker, Dinker, Rudy; feline, Blaze.
