Elaine M. Lenhart
Elaine M. (Everett) Lenhart, 72, of Orefield, died Dec. 3, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Terry L. Lenhart, to whom she was married 50 years Oct. 25. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harold Franklin Everett and Evelyn Florence (Bougher) Everett.
She and her husband co-owned the Fullerton Texaco from 1999 to 2004. Before that, they co-owned several Dunkin’ Donuts stores in Allentown for 25 years. She was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield.
She loved going to her “Happy Place” in Berlin, Md. where she enjoyed collecting seashells with her grandkids, antiquing with the family and spending time with the many friends she made in the community. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, casinos and working on word searches. In her later years, she enjoyed cleaning for friends and family and bonding with their respective dogs.
Her resilience and determination for fighting cancer for eight years was drawn from her love for her family and friends and belief to take life “one day at a time.”
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Stephanie M Lenhart-Tegyi (Andrew), of New Tripoli; son, Matthew L. (Heather), of Palmerton; sister, Gloria R. George (Richard) of Schnecksville; brother, Clark A. Everett (Marsha), of Germansville; grandchildren, Ryan, Joyce, Reese; granddogs, Dexter, Axel.
She was predeceased by a brother, Dale H. Everett.
