SING-ALONG: First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem has announced its annual Christmas Joy Concert, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21 at 4 p.m. in the church’s Sanctuary, 2344 Center St.

It will feature George Frederic Handel’s “The Messiah,” a timeless Christmas tradition. Those in the audience will be invited to join in for select sing-along choruses.

Tickets are available at ccsingers.org, or at the door. The concert will be livestreamed on the church Facebook page (@firstpresbethlehem) and website (fpc-bethlehem.org), with an opportunity for viewers to make a suggested donation online.

CANTATA: MunOpCo Music Theatre proudly announces the production of “Tree of Lights,” a contemporary Christian cantata celebrating the true “reason for the season.” Compiled and directed by Terri Williams, this uplifting musical experience will be performed on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 and 7 p.m. at the NCC Lipkin Theatre.

“Tree of Lights is comprised of selections from various cantatas written and arranged by Phil Barfoot. Blending pop, gospel and country interpretations of beloved Christmas classics – as well as powerful new compositions – this production takes audiences on a musical journey through the original Bethlehem and the story of Christ’s birth.
