It was an unique opportunity for residents of the Parkland School District to meet with Dr. Mark Madson, superintendent of the Parkland School District at Starbucks, 4025 W. Tilghman St., Allentown.
The meet and greet took place Nov. 18 and provided residents the opportunity to ask the superintendent about education goals and tax policies.
Deiya Priya Kumar, of Breinigsville, was concerned with digital versus paper education.
She felt students were spending too much time with digital material rather than traditional reading material.
Also attending was school board member Lisa Roth who discussed the function of the board to a trio of residents from Upper Macungie.
