LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

December brings a wave of holiday cheer

Explore our festive selection of holiday-themed books for all ages.

We are excited to announce new items at the library, including more jigsaw puzzles made possible by the generous donations through the Be an Angel campaign.

We have also expanded our collection of hotspots for checkout, reflecting their soaring popularity.

If you find yourself with some time off from work or school, seize the opportunity to visit a museum with one of our museum passes, check out a Stay Sharp or STEAM-to-go kit, try a new board game or learn a new instrument from our Library of Things.

Join us for Upper Macungie Township’s Kids’ Noon Year’s Eve celebration 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at Grange Park.

Looking for meaningful holiday gifts?

The Friends of the Library Book Shop offers a wonderful assortment of books and puzzles.

Please remember the shop will be closed during the holiday week from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2, 2026.

The library will also close Dec. 12 for a staff development day and Dec. 24, 25 and 31.

Even during these breaks, you can access e-books, e-audiobooks and streaming movies and shows for free through the Libby, Hoopla and Kanopy apps with your library card.

As we look forward to 2026, join us for our winter reading challenge Jan. 12 through Feb. 28, 2026.

Resolve to read this year and log your reading to earn exciting prizes.

It’s that easy! Teens can engage with the Beanstack app, while children and adults can pick up a paper log sheet at the library.

Looking forward to your next visit! Thanks for donating to the Toys for Tots this season.
