Virginia Ann Marone, 93, died Nov. 24, 2025. She was the wife of the late Andrew Marone.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Anna (Oberdoerster) and Bruce Gardner.

She worked carrying food trays at Sacred Heart Hospital while still in high school.

She previously lived at Country Meadows, Allentown, and Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce Wlazelek and wife Ann of Upper Macungie Township and Brian Wlazelek and wife Cindy of Reading; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four nephews.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Milton and Theodore Gardner and Mildred Keppel; and a grandson, Brad Wlazelek.
