Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 14

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 600 block of East 21st Street and on a male in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue.

Civil matters were reported in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue and the 1600 block of Railroad Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 1600 block of Railroad Street was reported.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Dewey Avenue.

A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street.

OCT. 15

Police investigated a reported civil matter in the 1700 block of Newport Avenue.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 300 and 1600 blocks of Main Street, at West 17th Street and Newport Avenue, on West Ninth Street and in the unit block of West 21st Street.

A reported fight at Municipal Park, Laubach Avenue and Smith Lane, was addressed.

At Canal and West 14th streets, a report of three suspicious males was investigated.

OCT. 16

A report of the unauthorized use of a debit card by a known male brought police to the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

In the 1300 block of Stewart Street, a report of a neighbor issue had police at the scene.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.

OCT. 17

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street and the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Main Street.

An unattended death in the 1400 block of Cedar Street was investigated.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

Officers assisted a male in the unit block of West 21st Street.

A hit and run took place in the 300 block of East 10th Street. An officer witnessed the driver-side mirror of a legally parked vehicle being struck. The offending vehicle, driven by a male, left the scene, police said. The officer was able to locate the offending vehicle.
