Pennsylvania Classical Ballet is presenting “The Nutcracker” at the historic Roxy Theatre, 2004 Main St. The showtimes will be 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 6 and 2 p.m. Dec. 7.

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church is holding a Ukrainian food sale, featuring holubski, sauerkraut with kielbasa and rolls filled with ricotta and spinach or sauerkraut.

Reminder: If you signed up for Northampton Area School District community education’s art and craft night, with Pamela Gross, the event is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in the multipurpose room at Siegfried Elementary School. Attendees will make a tree wreath. All supplies will be provided.

Registration was required one week before the event; no drop-ins will be accepted.

Northampton Fire Department will hold its annual Santa Run, starting noon, Dec. 14.

Parents who would like their child to receive a gift from Santa can bring the gift to the station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive, 6-8 p.m. Dec. 10-12. The gift should be wrapped and no bigger than a shoebox. The child’s name and address, as well as the parent’s phone number, should be clearly marked on the gift. The address must be within borough limits.

Santa will arrive on a firetruck on the day of the event.

Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., will be hosting a Christmas organ concert 3-4 p.m. Dec. 14. Marisa Deshler, Grace UCC’s minister of music, will provide Christmas music and music of women organists.

A reception with cookies and beverages will follow in the church fellowship hall.

There is no cost, but a freewill offering will be accepted to support the church music fund.
